Machine Shop Equipment Training:

To use each type of equipment in the machine shop, you will need to complete on-line trainings followed by an in-person test. This is required of all faculty, staff and students at Washington University.

Undergraduate students are required to complete the MEMS 1001 class before testing. Once the in-person test has been passed you will be given approval to use that equipment. This process begins by passing the Machine Shop proficiency and safety trainings.

The button below will allow you to self-enroll for the training.

If you have passed the appropriate training modules for CNC equipment  in Learn@Work.  You can now sign up for training in the Spartan light Metal Advanced Machine Shop
